My Guys - NJ Portrait Photographer
March 7, 2010 at 8:02PM There is a general belief that being a photographer means easily getting portraits of loved ones. When it comes to photographing my sons this can't be further from the truth. Getting the three of them together in the same place at the same time in order to take photos is quite a feat most likened to winning the lottery. Fortunately for me I hit the "lotto" on Sunday when they all agreed to be home so that we could take pictures. I couldn't be more thrilled because they really are my favorite guinea pigs....errr... models.
With the gear bag in tow and a promise to make them ice cream sundaes (you'd think I was dealing with toddlers) we headed off to Fort Mott State Park. As we tried to head into the parking lot we were stopped short by a half-way extended gate with a sign that read "Park is closing." Are you kidding me? It wasn't even 4pm and it was one of the nicest days in regard to weather since we started getting hit with Nor'easters every week. A quick change of plans had us heading to our local community park and off we went to trudge through still soaked ground in order to reach my favorite tree.
I've added the photos in slideshow format this time around. Below is the result of 2 hours of hanging with my guys. At 23, 19 and 14 getting photos is a rare treasure. I'll cherish these for a long time.
